Your tasks
- Development of embedded software for mechatronic systems, especially for electric small drives from concept to series launch
- Hardware-related programming in C on microcontrollers (8/16-bit μC, 32-bit ARMCortex)
- Development of concepts, architectures and specifications for embedded software
- Creation of test specifications, reviews and releases within the software development process
- Development of software test strategies and implementation of automated software tests
- Documentation and versioning of software, code review
- Responsible participation in project teams
Your profile
- Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, telecommunications engineering, technical computer science, information technology, mechatronics or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
- Thorough knowledge of programming languages C/C++ and/or Python
- Experience in embedded software development (real-time systems)
- Experience with configuration, versioning, documentation and testing tools (e.g. GIT, DOXYGEN)
- Experience with software design according to the V-model standard
- Knowledge and first experiences in LabView and/or MATLAB/SIMULINK are advantageous
- Basic knowledge of electric drives and actuators, interfaces and protocols
