New York State Security Guard - Selfless Service LLC

Description

As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their premises.

New York City (5 Boroughs), Menands, Binghamton, Jamestown, Norwich, Buffalo, Batavia, Watertown, Rochester, Garden City, Utica, Syracuse, Schenectady, Hauppauge, and White Plains.

• Patrol designated areas to ensure the security of premises
• Monitor surveillance equipment and alarms
• Respond to emergencies and security threats
• Enforce property regulations and guidelines
• Conduct security checks and inspections
• Report any suspicious activities or incidents
• Provide assistance to customers and employees when needed

• Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance operations
• Knowledge of CPR and first aid procedures
• Experience in militarized or law enforcement settings is a plus
• Ability to handle conflict management situations effectively
• Understanding of loss prevention techniques
• Have a High School Diploma or GED;
• Have a minimum of 1 year experience as a NYS Department of State (DOS) registered Security Guard;
• Be a minimum of 18 years of age;
• Be able to communicate with visitors and prepare incident reports in English;
• Be able to speak, read and write in English;
• Be physically capable of performing the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation;
• Have a valid and current DOS Security Guard registration;
• Have a copy of the current DOS Photo ID card.
• Have completed all DOS registration and DCJS Security Guard training.
• Have any additional sitespecific training and requirements as determined Selfless Service.
• Have any additional specific training and certifications, such as AED and CPR.
