    Lead Food Service Attendant at Providence Portland Medical Center- Full-Time, Day Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 9:30AM-6PM

    $2,000 hiring/sign-on bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

    Tuition reimbursement/education- includes 100% tuition paid program options; up to $5,250 per year for select undergraduate and masters degrees within Guild catalog. Required books and fees are 100% covered or reimbursable for select schools in the Guild catalog up to program funding cap

    Paid Time Off - Benefit eligible caregivers receive up to 25 days per year
    Retirement - The Providence retirement program consists of employer match and discretionary contributions that work together with your pre-tax (and/orRoth aftertax) contributions to help you save for retirement.

    Lyra Caregiver Assistance program- Up to 25 counseling or coaching sessions per eligible member per year

    Leads assist department supervisors by ensuring that Food Service staff are providing a high level of customer service for patients, family members, volunteers, physicians and staff. Must have comprehensive knowledge of, and be compliant with, specified regulatory requirements, and food safety and sanitation regulations for food service in a health care environment. Assists in monitoring the cleanliness and sanitation of area(s) of responsibility.

    Required Qualifications:
    • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
    • National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority upon hire.
    • National ServSafe Manager Certification - National Restaurant Association within 6 months of hire.
    • Experience working successfully in a team environment to accomplish common goals.
    • 2 years - Experience using food production software (i.e. Computrition), process orders essential for food operations, print necessary reports and update recipes in the data base.
    • 3 years - Production and Retail Leads: Experience working in a high volume, full service restaurant or institutional food service facility.

    The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
