At the earliest possible date, we are looking for you as a Production Manager for Mechanics for Locomotive Maintenance (m/f/d) for DB Fernverkehr AG at the Munich location.
Your tasks:
  • You take on the technical and disciplinary leadership of employees as well as the integration of new colleagues within the production department and the associated planning of work assignments
  • As part of the Strong Rail, you are responsible for ensuring the process-safe maintenance and testing of maintenance records, including documentation, for high-speed and freight traffic vehicles
  • Evaluating the condition of vehicles, recording damage images, and releasing locomotives for operational use are also part of your responsible tasks, as well as communication with our internal and external customers
  • You always keep an eye on the qualifications of employees and their technical instructions, for example for internal processes or occupational safety
  • Regularly exchanging with your colleagues and employees about the need for action and deviations in the maintenance process is a matter of course for you
  • You contribute to continuous quality and process improvement using common Lean methods (e.g. 5S, CIP)
  • Evaluating fault/error statistics, process checks, and deriving maintenance measures
