Job Summary:


As a Business Development Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to promote and sell the clinical services we offer and to establish and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry.

This role requires a combination of sales expertise, relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape.

Founded in 2017, Vitae Health Systems is one of the largest providers of behavioral health, internal medicine and podiatry services to the residents of Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facilities.

Headquartered in Chicago, IL, we currently operate in over 10 states and are rapidly expanding throughout the USA.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify and prioritize target markets, referral sources, and potential facilities in need of clinical services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decisionmakers and influencers in the healthcare community through regular communication, meetings, and networking events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including clinical staff, admissions coordinators, and marketing professionals, to develop comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the facility's goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth, differentiation, and innovation in skilled nursing services.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and marketing materials to skilled nursing facilities to promote the benefits of a mutual partnership.
  • Monitor and track referral activity, admissions trends, and market dynamics to evaluate the effectiveness of business development efforts and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies impacting skilled nursing facilities, and incorporate relevant insights into business development strategies.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or marketing roles within the healthcare industry, preferably in skilled nursing or clinical settings.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, reimbursement models, and care delivery systems related to skilled nursing services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to drive business growth.
  • Selfmotivated and resultsoriented, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the designated sales territory.
