Linen Attendant - Westchester Medical Center


Unitex is experiencing unprecedented growth Due to this growth, we are in search of a Linen Attendant for our facility at Westchester Medical Center.


Compensation:
$16.20/hr. The salary range for this position is $16.20/hour to $16.20/hour. Actual compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience, seniority, location, and other permissible job-related factors.


We require availability for 3 shifts: 5am-1:30pm, 7am-3:30pm and 2:30pm-11pm.

MUST be flexible and available to work either shift plus weekends and holidays.

Duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Distribute linens to various departments within the hospital
  • Load and unload scrub machines
  • Stock and restock shelves

Required Skills:


  • MUST have flexibility to work various hours (mornings, evenings, weekends) totaling 40 hours per week
  • Must be able to lift loads of linens and push carts filled with linens (50+ lbs)
  • Due to schedule, own transportation / car is needed as there is no direct mass transit to this location if living outside of Westchester County (onsite parking expenses ARE COVERED by the company)
This is an entry level position. No experience is required.
