As a successful traditional company, Schwarzer Cardiotek has been developing, producing, and distributing innovative and technologically advanced devices and software for medical diagnostics with a successful market presence of over 70 years, with a focus on interventional cardiology.

We are currently seeking a:

Hardware Developer (m/f/d) for Medical Devices

Your responsibilities:

  • Design and implementation of hardware and integrated electronics for biosignal acquisition
  • Participation in the entire process of circuit design, simulation, layout, and commissioning, as well as testing
  • Documentation of your work according to the requirements for international approvals

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, medical technology, or a comparable qualification
  • Relevant professional experience in the development of medical systems and knowledge of working with relevant standards
  • Experience in development in a regulated environment, specifically implementation of the 60601 family of standards
  • Demonstrated experience in eliminating and preventing electromagnetic interference
  • Strong technical understanding
  • Excellent knowledge of analog and digital circuit technology, as well as a hardware description language for programming FPGAs
  • Proficient in hardware development and simulation tools, ideally Altium
