Job Description: Responsible for delivering, tracking, and managing all patient care equipment exclusively at the Scottish Rite or Egleston campus. Upholds the values and vision of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, ensures compliance with regulations, and maintains accurate records throughout the system.

Actively supports initiatives to enhance safe patient care and services, as well as maintain a secure environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Experience: 6 months of general stocking/warehouse experience


Preferred Qualifications: Background in a hospital setting


Education: High school diploma or equivalent


Certification Summary: No professional certifications required


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Availability and flexibility to work rotating shifts and overtime with short notice

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering and assigning all patient equipment used at Scottish Rite or Egleston campus
  • Supplying patient care areas daily according to demand or for after-hours use
  • Monitoring the usage of patient equipment for accuracy
  • Collaborating with Central Supply for proper disinfection of patient equipment
  • Performing daily rounds to collect discontinued equipment for disinfection, handle malfunctioning equipment for repair, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Ordering and overseeing additional rental equipment usage to maintain adequate stock levels during high census periods
  • Tracking rental equipment usage for billing and timely return when no longer needed
  • Participating in assessing and improving service quality continuously
  • Rotating equipment in storage areas for consistent utilization
  • Adhering to infection control, safety, and OSHA procedures and regulations
