Delivery Driver - Chadds Ford, United States - Penns Woods Winery

This position is part-time, 16-20 hours per week.


Responsibilities:

*Properly organize and load picked and prepared orders into delivery van *Completing morning and afternoon delivery routes *Professionally and politely interacting with and delivering product to customer locations *Effectively refer customers to a member of the sales team to answer relevant questions *Maintaining general cleanliness and care of the delivery van *Fuel delivery van *Complete logs and reports


Qualifications:

*Safe driving record *Valid Class C Driver's License *Previous experience driving a box truck and van required *Forklift experience is preferable but not required.


Skills:

*Demonstrate knowledge of our business and strong work ethic *Willing to be a team player; forward thinking and responsibility is essential *Strong communication skills and critical thinking *Demonstrate ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast paced environment

Physical demands

*Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push weights up to 50+ pounds. *Loading and unloading cases of wine from warehouse to van, van to customer *Carrying cases of wine up and down flights of stairs

Available shifts and compensation:
Available shifts on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Compensation is $ $21.00/hour.
