The Schmidts Märkte GmbH is a traditional family-owned company with 16 EDEKA grocery stores in the southern Black Forest. Our strengths include high-quality products, an attractive and wide range of exclusive fresh products, regional and seasonal products whenever possible, and comprehensive, multi-layered customer orientation.

For our Schmidts Markt at the Bad Säckingen XL-Markt location, we are looking for a deputy store manager to start as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities

Managing the store's employees
Acting as a contact person for all personnel matters in the store
Analyzing business metrics using the merchandise management system and taking appropriate measures
Close coordination with the store management, district manager, and HR representative
Actively contributing and implementing improvement suggestions
Managing the product assortment, identifying trends, and implementing them independently
Planning and creating sales-promoting displays
Implementing attractive product placements and presentations

Your profile

Knowledge of retail due to completed training as a salesperson, retail merchant, or business administrator
Ability to cooperate, strong initiative, and persuasive skills
Good presentation and communication skills
