HRIS Project LeaderLocated in Auburn Hills, MI, our client, a subsidiary of a larger global world-class Fortune 100 organization with a mission of designing and manufacturing smart solutions for a world on the move, is seeking to hire a Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) Project Lead to join their team

POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Sr.

Vice President Human Resource North America, this position of HRIS Project Leader North America will support and maintain the organizations HRIS applications and modules.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include proper implementation of the processes, new modules, and data quality and consistency of ongoing production.

Provides technical support, troubleshooting, training, and guidance to HRIS users.
Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
Provides training to all levels of the organization as required.

Works with HR Leaders and HRIS Europe to ensure proper permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users and managers.

Advance report writing, analysis experience is required.
Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff.
Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, information services, managers, and employees, for implementation, change management, and training.
Ensures confidentiality and security of personal data is maintained within the system for user and user access.
Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS technology.
Organizes new modules, change communication, timelines for deployment, and action plans to drive their success.
Daily project management regarding the system.
Works as the Liaison between North America and the European HRIS team.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
3 years relative HRIS experience required with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory position preferred.
Must have advanced experience with people and systems change management.
Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software - advanced experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, and HRIS data management.
Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
Strong project management skills, going from diagnostic to implementation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to keep information confidential.
Ability to adapt, understand and effectively communicate among diverse cultures.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally upon request (up to 25% of time or on occasion)
