- Review and sign MAR's as requested by facilities, sign all orders specific for Primary Care while at the facility and/or within 24 hours if sent via fax or email, including phone orders, DME orders, Death Certificates, Plans of Care, PT/OT orders, hospice orders, and other relevant orders. **Handle all narcotic prescriptions for facility patients according to Eventus WholeHealth Narcotic Rx Policy. Allow sufficient time during visits for paperwork and administrative tasks.**
- Provide on-call triage duties following the protocol. Triage Policies and on-call duties will be adjusted as necessary, with providers expected to adhere to the latest agreed-upon schedule.**Triage policies will align with the majority vote from all Eventus WholeHealth providers.**
- Complete documentation and submit billing records according to Eventus WholeHealth's policies. Provide the facility with a hard copy of electronic documentation within 48 hours of service for inclusion in the patient's medical record.**Maintain open communication with facility staff and administration. Provide instructions and feedback on medications and relevant caregiver information.**
- Adhere to Eventus WholeHealth standards, policies, and procedures. Comply with legal and regulatory agencies' rules and professional ethical standards. **Ensure compliance with all regulations governing healthcare delivery.**
- Uphold patient confidentiality at all times. Abide by HIPAA rules regarding patient information.**Consult with the clinical supervisor before declining any resident, family, or facility request related to resident care.**
- Hold a Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and a current valid medical license issued by the North Carolina Medical Board. Maintain all required certifications to perform duties effectively.
- Graduated from an accredited physician assistant program. Passed the national certification examination for Physician Assistants. Licensed as a Physician Assistant in North Carolina.**Preferred specialization in geriatric, family, or psychiatry.**

Position Summary:
Eventus WholeHealth provides an integrated model of care to adults residing in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities through a network of healthcare providers including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Medical Assistants, and in-house Support Staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver primary-care services following Eventus WholeHealth site-specific protocols and consistent with the standard of care for family medicine, geriatric medicine, and/or internal medicine related to long term care facility work. **This role involves extensive travel and flexibility to support Eventus employees on leave, onboard new facilities requiring immediate staffing, and hold licenses for both North Carolina and South Carolina.**
