Our remote team is made up of skilled Project Managers, UX Strategists, Digital Product Designers, Developers, Account and Sales Managers who care about partnering with our clients to deliver people-centered, fun, and beautiful digital products that we can all take pride in.

Role Overview:

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you are the guardian of our processes, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest quality standards within designated timeframes and budgets.

You are pivotal in maintaining the integrity of our projects, serving as the critical link between our creative efforts and client expectations.

This part-time role offers flexibility in hours, averaging about 24 hours per week, with potential variations based on project and client needs.

Location Requirement:

While we are now a fully remote team, you must be based in the US and able to work in central time to attend meetings and structure your work day to align with our Chicago hours (9am - 5pm).

Essential Job Functions:

Comprehensive Testing:Conduct thorough testing across all product aspects, including functionality, design, and user experience.

Test Script Development: Craft manual test scripts based on functional requirements to meet acceptance criteria.

Risk Identification: Identify and address potential functional risks where documentation lacks detail.

Collaborative Planning: Work in tandem with developers, project managers, and the QA team to formulate and execute test plans, perform smoke tests, and oversee project health.

Effective Communication: Clearly articulate risks and defects to project managers and developers.

Strategic Development: Collaborate on refining and evolving testing strategies and scheduling in alignment with project deadlines.

Design Review Input: Provide valuable feedback during product design reviews, focusing on functional requirements and potential challenges.

Product Expertise: Develop deep product knowledge to make informed decisions on feature testing relative to delivery schedules.

Methodology Proficiency: Understand the nuances of the Software Development Lifecycle, including Waterfall and Agile methodologies


Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years in a Quality Assurance role, with a proven track record in software testing.
• Experience in test automation is a plus. Familiarity with software development processes and programming languages.
• Strong ability to articulate technical details and project needs effectively.
• Exceptional problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
