Overview:
Duties:
- Set up and operate press brake machine to bend, form, or straighten metal sheets
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the specifications of the parts to be fabricated
- Inspect finished pieces for quality and accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Work with a variety of tools and equipment including micrometers, plasma cutting machines, lathes, and electrical discharge machining (EDM) equipment
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Accupress model a plus+
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques
- Knowledge of food service standards a plus+ but not required
- Knowledge of reading blueprints
- Familiarity with tools such as forklifts, brake tooling (punches & dies)
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting machine issues
