    Description

    The Opportunity:

    · This position requires to work hybrid with 3-4 days a week in office (Philadelphia, PA).

    · Design, implement, and maintain scalable, high-performance data pipelines on AWS

    · Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software engineers, and business analysts to understand data requirements and develop appropriate solutions.

    · Optimize existing data pipelines for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

    · Develop and maintain APIs for data access and integration with various systems and applications.

    · Ensure the security and compliance of our data infrastructure through the implementation of access controls, encryption, and other best practices.

    · Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and best practices in data engineering.

    This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

    What you need:

    · 5-8 years of relevant software engineering experience

    · 3 plus years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering with strong knowledge in data related AWS Services, data ingestion, transformation and orchestrate data pipelines.

    · Experience of implementing and delivering data solutions and pipelines on AWS Cloud Platform.

    · Hands-on experience with data engineering tools and technologies

    · A strong understanding of data modelling, data structures, databases, and ETL processes

    · Experience in Data visualization tools Tableau/Power BI - Knowledge and experience of delivering CI/CD and DevOps capabilities in a data environment.

    · AWS Data Engineer Certification (good to have)
