Waste Reduction Enforcement Coordinator

$21.37 per hour

Part time 19 hours per week


The City of Attleboro seeks a Waste Reduction Enforcement Coordinator for the Health Department to conduct various educational programs to include recycling regulations and also enforces the City's trash program.


Duties include:
Assists with the preparation and implementation of a communications plan. Monitors the number of households served. Prepares documents related to trash and recycling tonnage. Maintains records of routes and collection days for all households and the types of collection systems used. Analyzes historical data. Coordinates the enforcement procedures by conducting regular inspections of all routes.

Issues trash/recycling fines in accordance with the City's Health Department Public Health Regulations and City articles and City of Attleboro's trash limits.

Must be proficient in Microsoft word, Excel, and work independently. Performs related work as required.

A high school diploma is required with some college courses preferred. Must be able to work under various weather conditions. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must possess a valid Massachusetts driver's license and reliable vehicle.
