As an IT Program Manager , you will be responsible for leading a system and network architecture assessment and prototype delivery project in support of the mission Click APPLY to be contacted about this position and find out more details.
What You Will Be Doing :
Managing program execution to include directing schedule, budget, and ensuring communication facilitates on-schedule completion within budget constraints.
Collaborating with project stakeholders to include organizing and leading project activities and stakeholder engagement meetings.
Leading cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of a network architecture assessment and prototype system.
Leading project resources to analyze project needs, define requirements, develop user stories, develop and execute test plans, develop and maintain project documentation, and report project to stakeholders.
Managing project staff and resources (including on-site and virtual contractors) and implementing the workplan to achieve assigned objectives.Managing and/or creating all project deliverables (e.g. project documents, phase steps and gates, project meetings, etc.) from initiation through delivery.
Providing guidance on prioritization, capacity planning, and resource allocation to the project staff and Executive Leadership Team.
Proactively identifying problems and risks on project, seeking input from appropriate stakeholders, and escalating where necessary.
Required Skills:
Must Have : MUST HAVE a Current and Active Secret clearance, as the customer is NOT sponsoring clearances.
Program Management Professional (PMP) certified.
8 years of Program/Project management experience.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Ability to build and foster internal relationships.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Strong presentation skills across audiences of varying technical knowledge levels.
Ability to set project goals and develop plans to meet those goals.
Experience successfully leading programs involving parallel and sequential projects with interdependencies while adhering to schedule and cost milestones.
Demonstrated experience maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates, and status reports.
Demonstrated experience managing resources for projects, such as equipment and team members.
Demonstrated experience coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities.
Demonstrated experience implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
Demonstrated experience using project management tools to track project performance and schedule.
Demonstrated experience performing project risk assessments and risk mitigation strategies.
