Your Role:

As an Ophthalmic Technician at Mann Eye Institute, you'll be at the forefront of our patient-centric team


Your exhilarating role includes:

• Mastering comprehensive patient history assessments, encompassing ocular, medical, surgical, social, and family aspects.
• Elevating visual acuity measurement for near and distance vision, with a pinch of pinhole magic.
• Commanding automated lensometry like a pro.
• Conducting preliminary eye examinations with finesse to spot normal findings.
• Championing Amsler, Stereo, and Color Vision Testing.
• Taking the helm of Auto Refraction and basic manual refractometry.
• Navigating Applanation Tonometry like a true visionary.
• Showcasing your artistry in Fundus Photography.
• Diving deep into repeatable, precisiondriven diagnostic testing.
• Guiding patients with expert education in line with established protocols.
• Dazzling patients with explanations of procedures like Lasik and Cataract surgery.
• Flaunting your basic scribe competency.
• Identifying and discussing the extraordinary abnormal findings with the doctor during Preliminary Exams.
• Commanding manual lensometry to reveal the secrets of power sphere, cylinder, axis, bifocal, trifocal, and progressive lenses.
• Precisiondriven intermediate refractometry, identifying the hidden gems.
• Spotting abnormalities like a seasoned pro during diagnostic testing.
