    About the role:

    We are seeking a seasoned Vice President of Sales with a strong background in identity and authentication expertise to spearhead the expansion of our authentication business. As the Vice President of Sales you will have the opportunity to make an impact at the highest level and the ability to drive success in a new area of our business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling identity or authentication security solutions to large institutions and will possess the ability to navigate complex sales processes with technical credibility. The VP of Sales will play a pivotal role in building out a key segment of our business and will be instrumental in driving growth and establishing our presence in the market. As a seasoned sales leader, you will have deep authentication and security solutions knowledge, a strong network, and a proven track record in building successful partnerships not only with Chief Information Security Officers, Chief Information Officers, and Chief Risk Officers, but also with Senior Product Leaders, Chief Marketing Officers, Brand leadership and other key stakeholders across various functions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop entire GTM strategy & execution for our identity and authentication solution in partnership with our Chief Revenue Officer, Chief Product and Innovation Officer, and the senior team including CEO.
    • Sell to enterprise customers at Sr. Executive/C-level, leveraging IAM expertise to present CompoSecure's value proposition and utilizing deep customer insight to win deals in highly competitive, complex, and high stakes sales processes.
    • Establish and nurture strong partnerships with VP/C-level contacts at potential client companies, fostering trust and effectively communicating the value of CompoSecure's identity authentication solutions
    • Lead the strategy within as it relates to new logo hunting, accelerating CompoSecure security and identity authentication software sales and driving exponential growth in customer acquisition.
    • Work with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Finance, Project Management/Account Management) to achieve ambitious company objectives.
    • Work with product and marketing teams to share field sales learnings from wins and losses to fine-tune our GTM messaging, sales assets, pricing and packaging
    • Maintain a deep understanding of the authentication market, including emerging trends, technologies, and competitive landscape, with a specific focus on IAM solutions.
    • Identify customer gaps to build a sales plan to address customer requirements in the IAM space, ensuring a clear return on investment for clients.
    • Establish and achieve sales goals, metrics, and milestones and track and report on progress and success
    • Use/maintain internal sales tools for CRM and pipeline management; we use Salesforce

    Requirements:

    • 10+ years of proven success in selling software to VP and C-Level including CISOs and CIOs; experience selling globally a plus.
    • Extensive experience in selling security and identity solutions to large institutions, specifically in the IAM space.
    • Proven track record of driving sales growth and exceeding targets in a competitive market environment.
    • Strong technical acumen and credibility, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with C-level executives and decision-makers.
    • Ability to leverage or similar CRM tools
    • Solid understanding of the technical aspects of the security and authentication space, particularly in IAM, and the ability to effectively communicate the business impacts of our product.
    • Demonstrated experience building trustworthy relations with key stakeholders and balancing different needs and agendas without compromising credibility.
    • Familiarity with industry-leading authentication technologies and platforms (e.g., Okta, Ping Identity, ForgeRock).
    • Actionable rolodex of decision makers within authentication/identity market
    • Strong business acumen; ability to deeply understand customers and their problems, and to tailor solutions to help drive business value.
    • Advanced in dealing with ambiguity and complexity to navigate uncertainty and lead teams through change.
    • Proven experience in senior leadership role within strategic alliances authentication market.
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
    • Must be able to travel 30-50% to meet with existing and potential clients
