    Senior Mechanical Engineer
    • Grandville, MichiganDISHER is currently partnering with a local A&E firm that specializes in helping organizations balance financial sustainability and environmental responsibility by providing design and sustainability efforts for both new construction and existing structures.
    They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Design Team in Grandville, MI.

    In this role, you will serve as part of the design team on both internal turn-key and external engineering projects (design/build, design/assist, bid/spec).

    This role will serve as the lead engineer on projects allowing for ample opportunities to mentor junior engineers.

    What you will get to do:
    Complete and provide peer review of: AutoCAD, Revit, and Energy ModelsComplete site visits and assessmentsProvide design solutions for systems as applicable based on background and project roleAssist in maintaining of standards and tools for engineeringParticipate in conceptual development meetings with internal team, clients, or contractorsWhat will make you successful:Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related disciplineProfessional Engineering License (PE) or Engineering in Training (EIT) preferred8-15+ years experience as a Mechanical Engineer in an A&E or Construction settingProficiency with AutoCAD & RevitProficiency with Trane Trace or other Energy ModelingAbility to build trust and operate with a high level of integrityA focus on customer satisfaction and retention ensuring customers receive best in class products and serviceMust have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without restrictions or expirations$80,000 - $120,000 a year
