Summary/Objective:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Processor to join our Cost Estimating Department at Cohen Industrial Supply.

The Cost Estimator Department is responsible for collecting and analyzing data to provide accurate estimates for products and labor required in water and wastewater construction projects.

_Duties/Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates by gathering, analyzing, and processing data necessary for bid submissions.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents to extract and organize relevant data.
Communicate effectively with various departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of the data required for project bids.
Assist in managing project pricing and cost databases to support competitive bidding and profitability.
Maintain data entry deadlines and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Performs other duties as assigned.

_Required Skills/Abilities:

Experience in data entry, with a keen interest in developing skills in cost estimation.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities, capable of collaborating effectively within a team.
Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Primarily deskbound role, requiring efficiency in a computerbased work setting.
