Flight Systems Industrial Products (FSIP) invites you to join our proud team in Carlisle, PA. FSIP manufacturers and remanufactures electronics for numerous electric vehicle and equipment markets.


Our Electronic Technician position is first shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm and is located at our facility in Carlisle, PA.

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing motor controllers and electronic systems to component level. In addition, this position is responsible for documenting electronic troubleshooting procedures.

Responsibilities:

Includes the following duties and other duties as assigned:

  • Maintain technical knowledge of products and processes of at least one product line.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair motor controllers and electronic systems to component level.
  • Solder, assemble, and disassemble electronic devices.
  • Remove and install electronic components through soldering.
  • Train and guide colleagues.
  • Utilize a wide variety of electronic test equipment for conducting procedures.
  • Provide upgrades to electronic systems.
  • Document electronic troubleshooting procedures.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures.

Desired Skills/Qualifications:


  • Associate's degree or degree in process in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or equivalent certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of through hole or surface mount soldering preferred.
  • Proficient understanding of electronic wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Proficient understanding of electronic gauges and test equipment.
  • Intermediate troubleshooting of electronics and products.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools.
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to solve complex problems that involve competing priorities.
  • Team oriented, customercentric, a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with others to achieve departmental and company objectives.
  • Accurate and efficient with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time and stay organized.
