Description

The Water Management Office Kronach is looking for two chemical-technical assistants (m/f/d), chemical laboratory technicians, chemical technicians or equivalent qualifications to work in the monitoring unit of the Kronach office at the location in Bamberg as soon as possible.

The prerequisite for employment is a successfully completed training as a chemical-technical assistant (m/f/d), chemical laboratory technician, chemical technician or equivalent qualifications. The place of deployment will be in Bamberg. Outdoor suitability for work on and in bodies of water is necessary. The employment will be permanent according to the provisions of the TV-L.

Your areas of responsibility:

  • Participation in the preparation of annual programs for water management monitoring
  • Sampling of water and sediment samples as part of water management monitoring in lakes, rivers and groundwater
  • Analytical work and determination of water-characterizing parameters and their quality assurance
  • Preparation of sampling in the laboratory information and management system (LIMS), specialist application for qualitative hydrology of surface waters (LIMNO) and specialist application for groundwater, as well as carrying out field services
  • Creation and maintenance of standard work instructions in coordination with the laboratory management
  • Participation in sample dispatch and bottle logistics
