    Description
    Insight Global is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Structural Engineering to lead an engineering team. This position provides great responsibility and flexibility with a focus on structural design work and management. The ideal candidate for this role is an ambitious self-starter who's eager to grow within the firm. In addition to technical skillsets, you will be responsible for client relations and project development.

    Responsibilities


    • Serves as the division head to clients, consultants, contractors, and associated project representatives
    • Guarantees seamless project delivery under strict deadlines
    • Manages and delivers all milestones through a project life cycle
    • Prepares and executes document specifications for all project types
    • Guides and encourages the development of junior level team members as the organization continues to expand

    Florida licensed professional engineer

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, master's degree preferred
    * 8+ years in structural design, drafting, and detailing for a wide range of project types


    • Expertise working onsite and conforming to drawings, specifications, and plans
    • Strong familiarity with local code requirements and associated governing agencies
    • Experience working with contractors, time frame management, and industry applied methods Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETABS, StudPro and RISA3D, or similar FEA software
