Position Overview:


As the Manager/Director of Brand Management and Franchise Communications, you will play a pivotal role in aligning our marketing strategies between Escapology HQ and our franchisees.

Your primary focus will be driving revenue growth by developing relationships that enable you to influence franchisee participation in and effective execution of quarterly marketing plans.

Your expertise will ensure the effectiveness and coherence of marketing campaigns across our franchises by maintaining brand integrity and facilitating seamless communication and collaboration.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the first point of contact for franchisees with questions about the marketing programs and general marketing support requests.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Escapology franchisees and external marketing agencies.
  • Be the voice of our brand to franchise owners and their teams.
  • Oversee and communicate marketing campaign performance to all stakeholders, ensuring campaigns are executed effectively and within budget.
  • Provide strategic feedback to agencies to maintain brand standards and direction across all marketing materials and collateral.
  • Conduct quality assurance for new marketing collateral, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Final review and testing of all new campaigns before they are set live for franchisees, including proofing and design checks as well as pricing and billing confirmation.
  • Reviews franchisee location marketing performance monthly to determine and execute an action plan for performance improvement in outliers.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand management strategies that enhance franchisee engagement and brand consistency.
  • Facilitate training sessions for franchisees on brand guidelines, new marketing tools, and campaign strategies.
  • Provide franchisee access, training, and approval on templated assets in Canva.
  • Responsible for CMS website updates for individual locations to ensure current and consistent information across all platforms.
  • Manages reporting platform to communicate channel specific results to franchisees.
  • Provide training and support to ensure new franchisees are able to successfully execute the grand opening playbook.
  • Support franchisees through preopening and Grand Opening marketing planning including development of Gantt/key milestones and execution of determined campaigns.
  • Manages franchise marketing support tickets submitted through help desk.
  • Communication and tracking of all preopening, Grand Opening, and ongoing marketing checklist tasks and communication.
  • Execute marketing kickoff calls to educate and communicate marketing program details to new franchisees.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of daytoday franchise operations as well as familiarity with the tools, software, and systems that drive franchisee success.
  • Work with the broader marketing team to develop a quarterly marketing playbook to ensure franchisees successfully execute priority marketing programs each quarter.
  • Drive franchisee adoption of marketing playbooks through presentations, oneonone meetings, and partnerships with the corporate operations leaders.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Director to align franchisee communication strategies with overall brand objectives.

Qualifications:


  • To be successful in this role, you must be a selfstarter who is highly innovative and comfortable driving campaigns from conception through execution.
  • Proven experience in franchisee communications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in brand management, franchise operations/business coaching, and/or agency coordination (5+ years preferred).
  • Ability to link broad business performance to tangible tactical KPIs and initiatives.
  • Excellent attention to detail and project management, balanced with an eye for continuous improvement and customization.
  • Strong understanding of the marketing landscape and current trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse relationships.
  • Analytical skills with a keen eye for details and the ability to oversee multiple projects.
  • Leadership skills with experience in managing teams and developing marketing strategies.
