Job Summary:


Evergreen Real Estate Group is looking to hire for the role of _
Asset Manager_, who will lead efforts in providing leadership with property-level monitoring and updates, identification of risks and recommendations for mitigation, and property-level transition action planning between Ownership and Management.


The Asset Manager will work directly with the VP, Underwriting & Portfolio Management as well as Ownership and Property Management to enhance the portfolio's overall financial health, stability, and growth.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute asset management strategies to optimize the performance of the multifamily portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Vice President and Regional Directors of Property Management to troubleshoot and optimize property and portfolio operations.
  • Conduct regular site visits as needed to include but not limited to review of: curb appeal, the status of CapEx projects, common area and vacant unit conditions, and personnel issues.
  • Review, analyze and report on financial statements in conjunction with site visit reports.
  • Oversee propertylevel transition planning for acquisitions in collaboration with the Director of Property Integration and the property management operations team.
  • Working with VP, Underwriting & Portfolio Management and Regional Directors of Property Management, create, oversee, and implement strategic business plans and programs for multifamily properties.
  • Participate in due diligence efforts for potential acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Perform other duties, as directed or required.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Portfolio/Asset Management, Finance, or related field.
  • 35 years of progressive experience in multifamily asset management or operations with demonstrated success in implementation of asset business plans and/or improving property and portfolio performance.
  • Knowledge of affordable housing and financing programs.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Experience with management software such as BI, RealPage, or Yardi.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
