We are seeking a highly driven Director of Supply Chain who will create cost and process efficiencies for a vertically integrated and fast-growing organization.

This is a new role which will be focused on building the Supply Chain and Procurement functions for IWS across construction, engineering, and manufacturing environments.

This role may be 100% in office (Longmont, CO or Austin, TX preferred), or Hybrid. Occasional travel to other locations may be required.


Responsibilities:


  • Build the supply chain and procurement functions for construction, engineering and manufacturing organizations.
  • Own the contractual process with national suppliers by negotiating NDAs, General Terms & Conditions, and Statements of Work.
  • Develop sourcing strategies by analyzing the supply base, market conditions, and future technologies.
  • Drive and implement continuous cost improvements through negotiations to achieve operational cost targets.
  • Champion improvements in the overall planning, procurement, material management, and logistics functions.
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with the overall business objectives of the organization including identifying opportunities for cost saving, negotiating with suppliers, and evaluating supplier performance.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including potential supplier, negotiating contracts, and monitoring supplier performance to ensure that they are meeting the organization's quality and delivery requirements.
  • Oversee the entire purchasing process, from identifying the need for goods and services to placing orders and receiving deliveries, while coordinating with other departments, such as finance, product management, NPI team, and manufacturing operations, to ensure that purchases are made in a timely and costeffective manner.
  • Inventory Control.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field, or equivalent years of experience.
  • 10+ years' experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or construction environments.
  • Experience in Lean Six Sigma process improvement methods, Black Belt preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership of a small team to deliver significant business process improvement.
  • Ability to read and analyze metrics and data to extrapolate status and required action plans.

Annual Base Salary:
$100k-140k*- The provided base salary range is used nationally. The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
