- Manage all aspects of the production process including safety, quality, and production on assigned shift including but limited to:
- Plan and schedule production
- Proper scheduling of employees to meet production requirements
- Conduct weekly health & safety meetings with hourly staff
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Implement and train staff on scanning system
- Monitor production activities
- Troubleshoot blending, batching & packaging issues
- Complete daily pre-op checklist for department
- Complete daily scale check
- Complete daily security checklist
- Complete daily production report
- Monitor GMP's, plant sanitation, and housekeeping
- Monitor machine efficiency
The essential functions of this role include: - wearing steel toe shoes
- working in a non-temperature controlled environment
- manual lifting up to 70lbs
