Job Title: Software Tester

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Software Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3+ years of end-to-end software testing experience, encompassing the creation and execution of test scenarios, meticulous analysis, and comprehensive documentation of programming defects. The role will involve ensuring that software products meet specified requirements and design specifications while adhering to industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct end-to-end software testing, including the creation and execution of test scenarios, and thorough documentation of programming defects.

Perform Security Testing across various applications and environments, with expertise in Coarse-grained/fine-grained access controls validations and role-based testing.

Utilize testing techniques such as white-box, black-box, load testing, coverage testing, and regression testing.

Experience with Microsoft Test Manager (MTM), TFS, and proficiency in creating SQL queries against Oracle databases.

Review system documentation, identify test objectives, and develop/update test scenarios for web-based applications.

Conduct Interface testing, including Flat file testing and SOAUP UI testing.

Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, both for team collaboration and clear documentation.

Demonstrate the ability to work independently and in a team environment, balancing multiple task assignments effectively.

Coordinate across teams to gather information and resolve issues, with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Deliver under pressure, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.

Willingness to live and work in central Pennsylvania.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with Agile, RUP, Lean, or Waterfall methodologies.

Strong presentation skills, including the development and delivery of Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.

Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field.

Knowledge of public sector programs and applications, specifically state government programs.
