Job Title: Functional Tester

Location- Onsite Position - Mechanicsburg, PA

Requirements:

3+ years of end-to-end software testing experience.

Proficiency in creating and executing test scenarios.

Experience in analyzing and documenting programming defects.

Security testing experience across various applications.

Familiarity with different testing environments.

Competence in testing techniques such as white-box, black-box, load, coverage, and regression testing.

Proficiency in Microsoft Test Manager (MTM) and TFS.

Expertise in integrated eligibility, public assistance, and Medicaid/TANF systems.

Ability to write SQL queries for Oracle databases.

Experience with interface testing, including flat file and SOAUP UI.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Capacity to work independently or in a team.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate across teams.

Capability to deliver results under pressure.

Willingness to relocate to central Pennsylvania if necessary.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with Agile, RUP, Lean, or Waterfall methodologies.

Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for presentations.

Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.

Knowledge of public sector, particularly state government programs.

Responsibilities:

Conduct end-to-end software testing, including test scenario creation and execution.

Document all programming defects and inconsistencies with requirements.

Perform security testing across various applications, focusing on integrated eligibility, public assistance, and Medicaid/TANF systems.

Review system documentation and identify test objectives.

Develop and update test scenarios.

Execute functional and regression test scenarios for web-based applications.

Expected Deliverables:

Test objectives, scenarios, and cases.

Defect documentation.

Reports on failed test cases.

Regression test cases.
