Overview:
The

Director of Technology

plays a pivotal role in leading the technology department within a medical / healthcare packaging manufacturing facility. This position involves strategic planning, innovation, and alignment of technology initiatives with the organization's overall business goals.

Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy and Leadership :
Collaborate with senior executives, including the CEO, to define and execute the company's technology strategy.
Drive technological innovation, ensuring it aligns with business objectives.
Oversee the development and implementation of technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and product quality.

Budget Management :
Manage the technology department's budget, allocating resources effectively.
Evaluate cost-effective technology solutions while maintaining quality and compliance.

Regulatory Compliance :
Stay informed about medical device regulations and standards related to packaging.
Ensure that technology practices comply with federal rules, regulations, and codes.

Cross-Functional
Collaboration :
Foster collaboration between technology teams, medical professionals, and other relevant departments.
Enhance communication channels to improve overall efficiency.

Supplier Relationships :
Cultivate healthy relationships with suppliers to ensure timely access to necessary materials.
Monitor inventory and stock levels to prevent disruptions in production.

Licensing and Compliance :
Ensure that all necessary licenses are up-to-date to avoid legal issues.
Prevent any potential prosecution or termination of services to the public.

Conflict Resolution :
Evaluate and address tensions that may arise within technology teams or across departments.

Qualifications:

Leadership Skills :
