Description

Promotes the sale of all Friedman products to both assigned and unassigned accounts and helps develop and maintain customer relations consistent with corporate objectives and quality standard system requirements.

Functions as a liaison between customers and various Friedman business departments such as Operations, Credit, Logistics, Quality, and Invoicing. Assists in monitoring and maintaining appropriate inventory levels. Continually develops, accumulates, maintains, and institutionalizes product, customer, and business process knowledge.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Promote the sale of all Friedman products with both assigned and, when appropriate, unassigned accounts.
  • Consistent with established business objectives, respond to customer inquiries and competently provide customers with price quotes, product, and delivery information in all product lines.
  • Accurately and consistently work within established business processes and systems, prepare and process orders, order changes and other sales documentation and agreements. When necessary, initiate the expedition of orders.
  • Monitor and assist in maintaining appropriate inventory levels consistent with the financial and other objectives of the Company.
  • Enter stock orders for future planned production. Coordinate the shipment of orders in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and employ product, customer, and business process knowledge.
  • Other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Customer Service Supervisor, Customer Service Manager ? General Manager of Sales or various Product Managers.
