    The University of Miami UHealth System is currently seeking a Senior Research Associate 2 to work at Soffer Clinical Research Center in Miami.

    The incumbent supports research activities under the direction of a principle investigator, program director or designee of the principle investigator or program director.


    CORE JOB FUCNTIONS

    • Contributes to basic and applied research activities by collecting and analyzing data and maintaining databases.
    • Understands and interprets research protocols and procedures.
    • Participates in the publication of significant results.
    • Advances expertise through continued education, training, and research.
    • Maintains an overview of relevant research findings.
    • Ensures all research is undertaken according to good research practice.
    • Stays abreast of developments in the field which may impact department functions.
    • Provides guidance, mentorship, and oversight to junior research staff and students.
    • Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
    Department Specific Functions


    • Responsible for recruiting, consenting, and enrolling study participants.
    • Responsible for participating in outreach and conducting assessments of potential study participants and those who enroll in the study.
    • Pre-screen potential participants for potential study eligibility using a brief screening assessment.
    • Responsible for administering all study assessments and providing participant incentives.
    • Will ensure all study assessments are scheduled for participants and notify participants of any upcoming appointments and assessments.
    • Responsible for the reporting of adverse and serious adverse events.
    • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and protocol adherence.
    • Document and record study data .
    • Participate in all required in-person and remote trainings and meetings.
    • Will coordinate with clinic personnel for clinical data abstraction.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Master's Degree in relevant field
