Your tasks

As a process engineer (m/f/d) at our location in Essen, you will be responsible for the continuous development of our production processes. This includes, among other things:

Improving productivity and optimizing manufacturing processes and value streams
Developing measures to reduce error rates
Organizing and further developing processes in coordination with department and management
Participating in daily performance reviews with all those directly involved in production (shopfloor management)
Coordinating and closely collaborating with all production-related interfaces (e.g. quality management, HR, sales, product development), possibly across locations
Expanding lean and digitalization approaches in the production environment
Planning and monitoring major maintenance tasks and investment projects
Ensuring ongoing production operations and implementing the TPM concept
Budget planning and control for investment projects and the TPM concept
Implementing the Gerresheimer Management System (GMS)

Your qualifications

University degree (BSc/MSc or diploma) in a technical field with initial work experience
Knowledge of common LEAN methods/SixSigma/TPM and experience in successful application desired
Process-oriented thinking and good understanding of common KPIs
