- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three (3) years of clerical experience.
- Pleasant telephone and interpersonal skills.
- Good clerical skills, including but not limited to typing, filing, and organizing.
- Maintains confidentiality.
- Performs the usual office routines and practices associated with a busy yet productive smoothly run office.
- Receives and routes all incoming calls.
- Maintains logs for use of district vehicles.
- Greets visitors to campus.
- Acts as liaison between schools and central office.
- Disseminates material to Central Office personnel.
- Disseminates mail to Central Office Staff.
- Maintains/Updates Central Office rosters.
- Orders office supplies when needed.
- Performs any bookkeeping tasks associated with the specific position.
- Prepares reports for the principal as shall be required.
- Performs any assigned duties from Assistant Superintendent/Superintendent.
- First in line to answer the telephone for incoming calls. Transfer calls or take messages.
- Make copies and distribute materials.
