- Provide direct patient care administering biologic therapies
- Review medical records to ensure completion of required testing
- Promote a calm, comfortable environment
- Initiate and maintain peripheral IV access
- Prepare and set up infusion medications
- Administer IV infusions safely and accurately
- Monitor for infusion reactions and respond accordingly
- Triage and address patient issues with the supervising provider
- Document visits via electronic medical record
- Educate patients and caregivers about medications and potential side effects
- Adhere to safety and infection control standards
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement of patient care
- Passion for providing high-quality patient care and customer service
- 2+ years experience as an RN in an acute or critical care setting or ambulatory infusion setting (preferred)
- Strong IV placement skills
- Excellent patient assessment and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Effective communication and collaboration with the team
- Compliance with all job-related policies and procedures
- RN Degree, BSN Preferred
- Current nursing license for Florida
- BLS Certification required within 30 days of hire
