Clinch Valley Medical Center is a 175-bed, acute care facility that provides medical services to Southwest Virginia and Southern West Virginia. Located in southwestern Virginia, Richlands is part of the Bluefield West Virginia-Virginia micropolitan area. Situated on the Clinch River in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains, this quaint town has so much to offer. With nine elementary schools, three middle schools, and four high schools, the Tazewell County School District offers a rigorous academic program for all students, including programs for gifted and talented students as well as those with special needs.
