- Provide direct care coordination services to an assigned group of clients, including individual, group, and family counseling, crisis intervention, and case management.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop, implement, evaluate, and revise treatment goals and plans for clients.
- Educate and support clients' families, advocating for clients' rights and preferences. Coordinate with community agencies and systems to ensure holistic treatment.
- Assist clients in finding primary care physicians, dentists, and coordinating psychiatric care with medical care.
- Offer crisis intervention counseling and collaborate with Designated Crisis Responders when necessary.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client progress according to established policies.
- Participate actively in organizational meetings and treatment planning review meetings.
- Provide information and support to clients regarding substance use issues, mental and physical health, and daily functioning.
- Help clients access resources and education for increased autonomy and meeting basic needs.
- Monitor and facilitate Legal Restraint Alternatives (LRA) compliance for assigned clients, ensuring continuity of care.
- Collaborate with the Crisis Response Team (CRT) and court-involved personnel for LRA extensions and revocations as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, social services, or behavioral health field.
EXPERIENCE: Entry level (no prior related work experience)
This position requires driving clients in a personal vehicle on behalf of the agency; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a motor vehicle history check, possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in the state of Washington, and have reliable, insured transportation.
LICENSURE: Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration.
Preferred Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE: Experienced (minimum 2 years of job-related experience)
Experience in co-occurring disorders treatment, individual and group therapy, vocational services, or substance abuse treatment.
The capacity to work well with children and families.
