    Introduction

    Are you a skilled healthcare professional looking to have a meaningful impact in public service? If so, the Office of Health Strategy (OHS) is seeking a qualified individual to join as a Lead Planning Analyst. Reporting to the Health Information Technology Officer (HITO), the Lead Planning Analyst will manage a portfolio of HealthIT projects, including facilitating meetings, developing agendas and project plans, tracking deliverables, and creating public meeting materials for advisory boards.     POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

    • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
    • Work Hours: Full-time, First Shift, 40 hours per week

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

    • Provide project management for Health Information Exchange (HIE) projects
    • Track contracts, invoices, and funding for the HIE
    • Participate in financial and technology meetings
    • Facilitate project meetings and track action items

    EXAMPLES OF DUTIES

      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - GENERAL EXPERIENCE

      Seven years of planning experience with written long term plans.

      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - SPECIAL EXPERIENCE

      One year of planning experience at the level of a Planning Analyst.

      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED

      • College training substitution up to four years
      • Master's degree substitution for one additional year of experience

        • Experience with health information systems
        • Project management skills
        • Healthcare industry experience
        • Health data processes knowledge
        • More experience with health information systems
