Dr. Philip Mongelluzzo Jr.’s remarkable career commences with his educational pursuits. He embarked on his medical journey at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, and successfully graduated in 1998, earning the esteemed title of Doctor of Medicine. Philip’s exceptional dedication and commitment were acknowledged through his receipt of The Aesculapian Student Humanitarian Award, an honor he received thrice. Following this accomplishment, he pursued his Primary Care Residency, spending two years at Atlanta Medical Center before completing his final year at Yale University.

Throughout his professional tenure, Philip Mongelluzzo Jr. has embraced numerous captivating and challenging roles. His initial engagement involved serving as a Commissioner on the Waterbury, Connecticut, Board of Health, where he demonstrated leadership in addressing the city’s health-related concerns and formulating comprehensive healthcare plans. Additionally, he assumed the position of Director of Alternative Health Care at St. Mary’s Hospital, overseeing the integration of alternative therapies such as Reflexology, Chiropractic Care, Reiki, and Energy Work with conventional medicine.

An entrepreneur at heart, Philip has skillfully merged his enterprising spirit with his passion for the medical field. In 2002, he founded Dr. Philip A. Mongelluzzo, Jr. LLC, a venture that provided a diverse range of Allopathic and Alternative Health Care options, successfully operating until 2019. In 2017, Philip established Pulse4Pulse, LLC, where he currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer. Moreover, he spearheads Care Beyond Medicine, PLLC, launched in June 2021, and Next Level Care CT, LLC, his latest initiative founded in January 2023, which focuses on Concierge Internal Medicine.

Driven by his inclination to share his wisdom and experiences, Philip Mongelluzzo Jr. served as a Pharmaceutical Speaker and Peer Educator. In 2008, he created ThirtySecondsToSuccess.com, an engaging training seminar for the pharmaceutical industry, aiming to enhance communication skills between sectors. This initiative directly inspired the publication of his first novel, “Achieving Health and Happiness with 30 Daily Doables,” in 2015.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Philip actively seeks opportunities to contribute to his community. He dedicated his time as the Varsity Head Coach for Holy Cross High School Girl’s Soccer from 2016 to 2023, effectively supporting aspiring athletes. Reflecting his profound commitment to personal fitness, it comes as no surprise that Philip Mongelluzzo Jr. generously devotes his free time to giving back.

Over the years, Philip Mongelluzzo Jr. has had the opportunity to take on several interesting and challenging roles. One of his first professional roles was with the Waterbury, Connecticut, Board of Health. As a Commissioner, he oversaw the city’s health-related issues and formulated health-focused plans. Other roles Philip has taken on include Director of Alternative Health Care (St. Mary’s Hospital), where he was responsible for overseeing the integration of Reflexology, Chiropractic Care, Reiki, and Energy Work with Allopathic Medicine.

As with many medical experts, Philip Mongelluzzo Jr.’s career began with an education. He attended Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He graduated in 1998 with a Doctor of Medicine. Philip received The Aesculapian Student Humanitarian Award for his class three times. Following that, Dr. Mongelluzzo attended Atlanta Medical Center for his first two years of his Primary Care Residency.  He completed his third year of his Primary Care Residency at Yale University.
