Assistant Manager for Traveling Concessions Booth - Los Angeles, United States - Liams Lemonade

We are hiring an assistant manager to help manage our concessions booth at music festivals, night markets and other events throughout Los Angeles, Orange County, Las Vegas & Northern California.

We operate multiple food booth concepts selling lemonade, corn, wings, musubis & more.

Shared accommodations & carpooling are arranged when we travel out of Southern California. Event weeks generally involve travel and setup on Thursdays along with the event Friday - Sunday. We travel home from out of town events on Monday morning. Event days are typically 10-12 hours each day.

We currently run about 30+ events per year and are looking to hire an experienced assistant manager who is able to consistently travel & commit to ALL events.

This position is great for someone experienced in concessions and gig work that is looking for more consistent work. Pay rate can be discussed based on experienced.


Responsibilities:

• Set up and tear down event equipment at event sites (tents, tables, banners, cooking equipment)
• Drive cargo vans safely to run errands & food shop for events as needed (familiarity with restaurant depot is a plus)
• Load and unload equipment, food & supplies
• Set up & efficiently manage our food and beverage station at events, following proper health and sanitation rules at all times
• Assist in managing a team of 1520 staff through setup, prep, service & breakdown
• Provide excellent customer service and work as a team

Requirements:

• Lead or management role in food truck or concessions / catering business required
• Clean DMV record with valid current California driver's license
• Strong work ethic honest, punctual and hard working
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods & be comfortable working outside
• Team player with positive attitude
• Strong customer service skills
• California Food Handlers Card
• Reliable personal transportation NO EXCEPTIONS
