    00 Salary/yearJob ShiftDayDescriptionThe HR Employment Relations Specialist will assist in the management of services for 300+ employees across multiple locations. The HR Generalist will assist with a variety of Talent/HR responsibilities to support the department and employees.

    The HR Specialist will support the Recruitment Manager and VP of Talent with a range of HR activities including, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, employee correspondence, employee recognition, employee satisfaction, information gathering, tracking and analysis, clerical/admin tasks, and other projects.

    The HR Specialist will focus on specific areas of HR as directed and must be able to work independently, and shift focus quickly.

    It is essential that the HRG is detailed oriented with outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills.

    The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the duties and responsibilities that will be required of the position but additional responsibilities may be required.

    Employees are expected to perform job related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.

    • NO WAITING PERIOD 3 weeks of Vacation, 3 Personal Days and 7 Sick DaysEssential Functions & QualificationsContribute to developing innovative marketing related to recruitment and promoting the agency as a great place to workProficiency with social media platforms; strong technical ability and knowledge in order to utilize social media and other mediumsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)Proficiency using computers, printers, copy machines, and fax machinesAsist with annual Open EnrollmentAssist with on/off boarding of hires/employees and extended onboardingAssist with targeted outreach strategies for recruitment and correspondence to employeesAttend career fairs, in addition to other recruitment related eventsAssist as directed with screening resumes, conducting phone interviews, scheduling interviews, reference checks, and offer letters, monitor and create systems for ensuring this information in the HRIS system Talent moduleWork with Recruitment Manager/Hiring Managers to ensure job descriptions are up to dateField calls/inquiries from employees including general HR related questions, troubleshooting ESS systemReview, organize and manage HR paper and electronic recordsTrack employee information including performance eval dates, training dates, assist with tracking background checksResponsible for creating, monitoring and managing tracking of employee training, ensure employees are up to date with required training/sWork to improve efficiency and use of HRIS system, become the system expert to ensure it is used to its fullest capacity including scheduling, performance evaluation and training modulesTrain employees to use HRIS Employee Self Service System, present other employee trainings as assigned, collaborate with Department training leadersServe as back up to lead New Hire orientation.
    Manage and update materials used for New Hire OrientationResearch, collect and compare compensation data to ensure the agency is competitiveESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree preferred, but not requiredA minimum of 2+ years of HR experience requiredExperience in mental health and non-profit sector preferredStrong drive and enthusiasmExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy requiredExcellent organizational skills requiredExcellent interpersonal skillsDemonstrated strength in managing multiple tasks while adhering to strict deadlinesProfessional and positive representative of the AgencyInnovative and creative thinkerArticulate, professional demeanor with strong self-confidence and initiativeMust be a critical thinker able to effectively identify, evaluate and resolve issuesMaintain strictest confidentiality with respect to agency, employee and client information; adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulationsProfessional integrity and flexibilitySkilled in working independently to carry out department and agency objectives#J-18808-Ljbffr
