Position Overview:
The Quotation Specialist will play a crucial role in facilitating the quotation process for our foodservice equipment and supplies distribution company.
This role entails utilizing AutoQuotes software to generate quotes, collaborating with sales teams for cross-selling initiatives, handling quotes for substantial opportunities, and overseeing e-support activities related to quoting.
This role is with the intention to develop into a customer facing sales role. Included in the quoting process is reading manufacturer specs, reading drawings, and attending sales calls or collaboration meetings.This position will have a planned progression into a public bid sales role. This progression will have built in milestones at 3-6 month intervals, with an expected transition by 1 year.
Responsibilities Include:
- Quote Preparation: Utilize AutoQuotes software to create accurate and timely quotes for sales representatives and clients on a national scale.
- Cross-
Selling Support:
Work alongside sales teams to identify cross-selling opportunities, ensuring relevant products are incorporated into quotes to maximize sales potential.
- Large Opportunity Quotes: Prepare and manage quotes for significant opportunities and projects, thoroughly understanding client needs and delivering comprehensive quotes.

Quotes Expertise:
Maintain proficiency in AutoQuotes software features and updates, leveraging its capabilities to streamline quote generation.
- Sales support: Attend in person customer meetings to assist sales in selling foodservice equipment and supplies.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales teams, product managers, and stakeholders to gather information for comprehensive and competitive quotes.

Support Management:
Oversee e-support, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing quotes and resolving issues.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all generated quotes adhere to company pricing policies, quality standards, and client requirements, maintaining consistency and accuracy.
- Reporting and Insights: Generate reports and analyze data to offer insights and recommendations for refining the quoting process.
- Other Duties as needed.
- Associate degree in business, Marketing, or related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- Preferred twothree years of experience in a quotationfocused role, in the foodservice equipment and supplies industry.
- Sound understanding of foodservice equipment and supplies, industry trends, and pricing dynamics.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to ensure accuracy in quotes.
- Effective communication skills for seamless collaboration across diverse teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Problemsolving mindset with a proactive approach to process refinement.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
