Responsibilities
- Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing appropriately.
- Announces visitor arrival to appropriate Brookdale team member.
- Print patients' appointments.
- Print daily schedule.
- Ensure appropriate documents are displayed at front desk.
- Prepare new admits welcome bag.
- Give directions/information to visitors, guests, patients, sales representatives, etc.
- Report suspicious persons/information to a supervisor immediately.
- Receive, sort and distribute mail as directed.
- Operate copier, office machines, etc., as directed.
- Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook and securing the appropriate confidentiality disclosure statements.
- Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributes to the Brookdale team effort by accomplishing relating task promptly.
- Maintains a friendly, professional demeanor and appearance.
- Positively promotes Brookdale to prospective patients, families and employees.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
This is a part-time position that will work weekends Saturday & Sunday from 9am-5pm.**
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency. Experience with Office 365, or similar software preferred.
- Excellent telephone, verbal and customer service skills required.
- Minimum of one (1) year office or administrative experience preferred.
