Please note that this is not a fully remote position, incumbent must live within a commutable distance from Ontario, California to attend weekly meetings. Incumbent will be expected to spend at least 50% of his/her time outside of the office prospecting new business or managing current accounts




IMPORTANT:
LBI will expect the incumbent to come prepared with own leads and/or a viable book of business. LBI will provide sales leads initially but will expect the incumbent to also create their own leads independently.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Incumbent will be expected to spend at least 50% of his/her time outside of the office prospecting new business or managing current accounts
  • Performs other jobrelated duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Required
Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or a related field preferred
  • Experience: A minimum 5 years of related sales experience preferably within the Raw Ingredients or Functional Sweeteners industry.
  • Customer relationship management.
  • Proven Prospecting, Negotiation and Closing abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dedication to providing great customer service.
  • Availability to travel as needed

  • Demonstrable experience as an account manager, developing clientfocused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively
  • Analytical skills with a problemsolving attitude
  • Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong Business Sense and Market Knowledge
  • Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, Zoho highly desired
  • High Integrity and strong work ethic
