    Description

    A large healthcare client is looking for a Diabetes Education to work for their Maternal Fetal Medicine Practice in Trenton, NJ M-F 8-4:30 pm.

    This candidate must be an R.N. and have a background in any kind of diabetes education. This person will be responsible for working with expecting mothers and caring for their diabetes.

    This entails initial education - how to use a glucometer, diet, how to use insulin, call in prescriptions, monitor/respond to patients' weekly blood sugar logs, etc.

    Required Skills & Experience

    Currently have or willing to obtain CDE (certified diabetes educator) certification.

    One year of experience as an R.N. providing diabetes education

    AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider, Registered Nurse - NJ

    Strong working knowledge base of endocrine/diabetic care

    Nice to Have Skills & Experience

    MFM experience


    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
