    Scope of the Role:
    As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting custom machinery solutions in direct collaboration with Senior Engineering leaders and valued clients


    Your responsibilities will include:
    Developing conceptual designs and detailed drawing packages utilizing 3D CAD software.
    Specifying parts and components and liaising with vendors and suppliers to procure requisite materials.
    Participating in, and at times leading, design reviews, while meticulously managing Bills of Materials and ECRs/ECNs.
    Conducting engineering calculations to validate system integrity and refine designs for optimal performance.
    Managing technical projects with precision, overseeing schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

    Serving as the primary point of contact for customers, providing expert guidance on technical queries and offering transparent project status updates.

    Collaborating seamlessly with Controls Engineers and our Manufacturing team to ensure seamless execution and build of systems.
    Providing hands-on support during equipment testing phases prior to deployment at customer sites.


    Candidate Profile:
    To thrive in this role, you must embody the following qualities and qualifications:

    Proficiency in 3D Modeling, with experience in SolidWorks preferred.
    Proven track record in designing custom machinery from conceptualization through to completion.
    Ability to excel both independently and as a collaborative team member.
    A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a related field.
    While a 4-year Engineering degree is preferred, equivalent experience will be duly considered.
    Strong communication skills are a must, coupled with the innate ability to engage effectively with customers.
