    Job Description

    The local delivery driver is expected to display high levels of customer service while navigating delivery routes and completing threshold level delivery services. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and reliable.

    Responsibilities

    • Properly organize and load picked and prepared orders into delivery van
    • Completing morning and afternoon delivery routes
    • Professionally and politely interacting with and delivering product to customer locations
    • Effectively refer customers to a member of the sales team to answer relevant questions
    • Maintaining general cleanliness and care of the delivery van
    • Fuel delivery van
    • Complete logs and reports

    Qualifications

    • Safe driving record
    • Valid Class C Driver's License
    • Previous experience driving a box truck and van required
    • Forklift experience is preferable but not required.

    Skills

    • Demonstrate knowledge of our business and strong work ethic
    • Willing to be a team player; forward thinking and responsibility is essential
    • Strong communication skills and critical thinking
    • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast paced environment

    Physical demands

    • Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push weights up to 50+ pounds.
    • Loading and unloading cases of wine from warehouse to van, van to customer
    • Carrying cases of wine up and down flights of stairs

    Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Wednesdays and Thursdays. Compensation is $ $21.00/hour.

The tasting room in Chadds Ford, PA provides an all-around vineyard experience and hosts live music, food and wine pairings, and other exciting events each weekend.
