Description

Western Signs & Lighting LLC _designs, manufactures, installs, services and repairs a variety of signs, security lighting and flagpoles for businesses_ and organizations.

I. KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

• Performing installations, maintenance and repairs to signs and flagpoles.
• Loading and transporting all signage, tools, hardware and materials to job sites safely.
• Preparing job sites by removing old signage (if required), preparing surfaces or structures for new signs.
• Clearing debris and materials from job sites after each installation/removal.
• Physically fit and able to perform strenuous labor (as noted below)

II. QUALIFICATIONS - Ability to pay attention and retain information that will be taught regarding various types of signs and flagpoles. This will include vinyl, channel lettering, pylon & monument signs, flagpoles, as well as, installation methods, materials and safety measures.

SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Working off the ground, up to 80' (most times ' foot heights).


IV. ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS / JOB FUNCTIONS ASSESSMENT

Physical :

Repetitive bending, stooping, standing, lifting - 50+ lbs., climbing ladders, measuring, loading and unloading company trucks. Operate hand and power tools

Mental:

Operating and maintaining the tools and equipment safely. Properly completing all required paperwork, logs, vehicle inspections. Operate company vehicles and equipment.

Other Requirements :
Clearly communicate with Project Managers, Operations and Sales, as well as, clients on the job site. Good mechanical abilities

Job Types:
Full-time, Apprenticeship


Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
