    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as the on-site HR point of contact for employees in Dalton
    • Manage full-cycle onboarding, including new hire paperwork and ADP data entry
    • Assist employees completing paper onboarding forms and ensure accurate system entry
    • Independently complete and maintain I-9 documentation within federal timelines
    • Maintain compliant, organized, and audit-ready personnel files
    • Interpret and consistently apply company handbook policies
    • Identify documentation gaps and proactively resolve them
    • Support recruiting coordination, interview scheduling, and onboarding logistics
    • Assist with employee communications and general HR inquiries
    • Provide administrative HR support including reporting and documentation
    • Support the HR Director in implementing HR initiatives and compliance standards

    Required Qualifications

    • 3–5 years of hands‑on HR experience
    • Direct experience independently completing I-9 documentation
    • Experience managing onboarding documentation and employment verification
    • Strong understanding of personnel file compliance standards
    • Ability to work independently without constant supervision
    • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Dalton, GA

    This individual does not require daily direction. Instead, they bring structure, consistency, and reliability to the HR function.

    What success looks like in the 30, 60, 90 days:


    First 30 Days:

    • Gain full understanding of company policies, handbook, and compliance standards
    • Become proficient in company onboarding workflows and ADP processes
    • Establish strong working relationships with Dalton leadership and staff
    • Begin auditing personnel files to assess compliance gaps

    By Day 60:

    • Organize and standardize personnel files to audit‑ready condition
    • Identify documentation deficiencies and implement corrective actions
    • Serve confidently as the on‑site HR point of contact

    By Day 90:

    • Operate independently with minimal oversight
    • Ensure all personnel files meet compliance standards
    • Maintain consistent onboarding and documentation processes
    • Provide reliable HR support while strengthening communication between Dalton operations and Atlanta leadership
